Linda Giangrande
For me, preservation means understanding the interplay of material, history, and space. As a restorer, I combine scientific analysis with craftsmanship precision and a keen sense of aesthetics.
I specialize in the conservation and restoration of murals, architectural surfaces, stone, and art in public spaces. My view extends beyond the individual object to the spatial, material, and contextual relationships that shape each project. This holistic perspective enables me to plan complex tasks carefully and provide interdisciplinary support.
My work combines research, concept, and execution: from the analysis of historical materials and techniques to the development of sustainable conservation concepts and precise restoration measures. Authenticity, reversibility, and a respectful approach to the existing substance form the foundation of my work.
